UN/CEFACT Annual Newsletter 2022
Dear UN/CEFACT expert community!

As we wrap up this eventful and impactful year, I am pleased to share our annual newsletter, summarizing our joint achievements over the year, as well as listing the key milestones and activities. As we are setting a course for a new 2023, we look forward to working together and contributing towards a sustainable and resilient trade in the years ahead.

Your efforts over the past year significantly contributed to guiding the post-COVID-19 recovery for international trade; restoring the disrupted supply chains as a result of conflict; and charting the way forward as we, at UNECE, embark on our next cross-cutting priority goal of "green and digital transformations for sustainable development in the UNECE region". Digitalization has always been central to the UN/CEFACT work and it will continue guiding us as we step up our efforts in advancing international trade in line with the global digitalization agenda.
Now, let me highlight a few important events that took place in 2022:
  • The 38th and 39th UN/CEFACT Forums were held in May and December 2022, which brought together over 1,500 experts in 30 on-line sessions, advancing on the UN/CEFACT project work.
