TFT organized total nine rice ball character workshops for children and their parents at Williams-Sonoma in Beverly Hills, Au Fudge in West Hollywood, Smorgasburg Farmer's market, Tokyo Central and 4 more locations. The events were hosted by Japan’s Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries.

TFT DC participated in Sakura Matsuri, the largest one-day celebration of Japanese culture in the U.S. TFT partner restaurant Tako Grill sold healthy Japanese food and donated a portion of the proceed to TFT.

9 shops in Matsuya Asakusa, Japanse major department store, sold healthy bento (lunch) box with donation. All items use plenty of vegetables and are nutritionally balanced.

TFT kids held another "Healthy Sale" and raised enough donation to provide 470 school meals to children in need!

TFT Germany held total four rice ball making events in Germany and more than 50 people enjoyed making rice ball.

Bel Japon launched a campaign offering gifts such as original pillows and pans. 
Bel Japon will donate 20 yen for every applications. 
This campaign was also held last year and succesfully delivered 4 million school meal.

We were proud to have over 100 kids and parents in the TABLE FOR TWO onigiri workshop events in March 2017. Hands-on food events are so valuable to kid’s education because they don’t just involve eating, but team play, creativity, challenge, and food safety. We are hoping to reach more kids using this type of event as we pass on this culture to future generations.
