Call for applications for the Oberhausen Seminar at the International Short Film Festival Oberhausen

From May 1-6, 2019, the Short Film Festival is organizing the sixth Oberhausen Seminar together with LUX (London) and the Robert Flaherty Film Seminar (New York) in Oberhausen, Germany. The Seminar is an experimental course that examines the moving image in contemporary art in the context of a renowned international film festival.

International actors from various fields—artists and filmmakers, curators and scientists—use the Short Film Festival as a laboratory in which curatorial preconditions, infrastructures in which these moving images circulate, and the critical parameters according to which they are analyzed are questioned.

Application deadline: February 1, 2019
