Hey—Jenn here!
Finally, Jordan's deeply-investigated Flint piece will be published very soon. To put it mildly, this piece will show that Flint's water is NOT safe. It's harming people.
That's not all, though. Jordan's also going back in-field on a reporting trip to Flint next week!
When polled, this was the number one place you all wanted him to go. It's time the corruption and lies were exposed, and Jordan's the only one who's stayed on this story in the tenacious way he's stayed on it.
Even though he's still recovering from back surgery (he's still in physical therapy and not anywhere near up to full function) and he's running on fumes from lack of sleep, he's determined to get to Flint to report. Because this story matters—the people matter.
I'm sure you know that we're building this media company from the ground up. We simply don't have the funds to get to Flint without your help. We have a goal of raising $2,000 for this trip through sponsors like you.
If everyone pitches in, even at $1, $5, $25, or whatever fits your budget, I know we can reach that amount.
Nothing lavish here—It's ALL about the stories. Sponsorships will go toward travel, lodging, & reporting.
You can sponsor this trip via http://www.jordanchariton.com/sponsor/ to help us reach our goal of $2,000 to get this story out there—that Flint's residents are suffering due to lies, corruption, and coverups.
Please, spread this around-- share this link and goal where you can and give what you can. No matter what, your support means a lot.
~
Jenn
P.S. I can't even put into words how important this trip is to Jordan. It's all he talks about and thinks about. He's the reporter we need on-the-ground in Flint. Please help sponsor to make this happen:
