HB1/SB484 - DeSantis signed the 'anti-riot' bill despite it being unconstitutional

A legal challenge has been launched: Civil-rights lawyers file federal suit against DeSantis over newly signed ‘riot bill’

The ACLU of Florida response:  Polling shows 63% of Floridians do not support HB1.
 
Support Justice Reform 

SB 1032 would give inmates an opportunity to train educationally and vocationally, allowing them to earn additional time off of their sentence and essentially turning their lives around from inside prison walls. The bill is currently stalled in the appropriations committee. 

Please encourage these Senators to act on this bill, which would also save millions in taxpayer money.

Stop the Trans Sports Ban Bill

Equality Florida is holding Virtual Days of Action, in which you can take action to stop the Trans Sports Ban Bill from moving any further through the senate. Join them virtually, as they call Equality Florida supporters and encourage them to call the Governor, and ask him to denounces HB 1475 and the Senate companion bill SB 2012.

A CALL FOR IMMEDIATE ACTION NEEDED 
PLEASE FILL THIS PETITION IN SUPPORT OF THE SCHOOL BOARD MASK MANDATE 

The Polk County School Board will continue a mask mandate for the rest of this school year. However, they will be looking at whether to lift it for summer school and the next school year.
Please fill out the petition to let the Board Members know there are many who are against removing the mask mandate from our schools too early. This information can then be used when the mask mandate is raised by the board.
