Welcome to the July 2019 edition of Sajid Javid MP's newsletter
WELCOME
As we enter the summer months, I hope that you are able to enjoy the warmer weather, and find some time to rest and recuperate.

I urge all constituents to head along to our Bromsgrove street theatre programme, which is returning from July 24th. It's not one to miss!

As ever, if you need my assistance please get in touch with my office via sajid.javid.mp@parliament.uk

Best wishes,

Sajid Javid
Member of Parliament for Bromsgrove
RECENT ACTIVITY
A recent highlight for me was being able to show my support for constituent, Chris Johnson who was awarded the Queen’s Police Medal.

Chris has made a remarkable contribution to policing over 29 years.

Thank you, Chris for your incredible bravery, leadership & community spirit.
I always look forward to our annual Court Leet Medieval Fair Day.  It never fails to remind me of how incredible our community is. This year was no different!

It was great to see such a large turnout, with so many local charities participating and raising money, alongside numerous local businesses.

My congratulations go to the winners of the best stall, which saw kids coming together for Acorns Hospice - a brilliant cause.

I hope to see even more of you next year!
It was great to return to speak at another Bromsgrove Business Lunch at Grafton Manor a few weeks ago.

A huge thank you to all the local businesses that attended - I truly appreciate the positive impact you have on Bromsgrove.

See you all at the next one!

It was a pleasure to attend the Bromsgrove Beer Festival, and to see so many friends enjoying the beer.

This year 9,424 pints of beer were were consumed (not by me!) and we had more than 3,000 visitors in total.

It was also great to hear that £1,508.56 was raised for Freewheelers EVS, a blood bike charity.
