- The Least Developed Countries Expert Group (LEG) met in Haiti to discuss their 2017-2018 work program, which includes advancing NAP processes through technical guidance and support and enhancing LDCs’ access to GCF funding for NAPs.
- Papua New Guinea launched their NAP process.
- Lebanon held stakeholder consultations to advance their NAP process.
- Uganda and Zambia worked with UNDP on tools to identify adaptation options and mainstream gender into climate change adaptation policies.
- Botswana is looking to infuse both traditional and modern knowledge systems and other policies into the country’s NAP.
