Eirakuya, the oldest cotton fabric shop in Japan, designed two tenugui (traditional Japanese towels) in 1932, when Chaplin first visited Japan. Bubbles Inc. has recently licensed the rights to Eirakuya to manufacture and sell new tenugui with the same beautiful vintage designs from the 1930s (agent Ono Hiroyuki). Also in Japan, men's t-shirts and tote bags are now available from Deluxe (agent Copyrights Asia).

We are looking forward to Protocol SL's new tin wind-up toys of the Tramp character, which will be ready soon. Genuine French jacquard-woven cotton tea towels are now available from
Tissage Moutet, and limited edition graphic art prints are still available from Nautilus Art Prints.

Many were scanned from original prints or negatives from the Chaplin Studios. They are available for licensing or as personal prints using the Fotomoto print-on-demand feature.

After the releases of several Chaplin soundtracks on major digital platforms, we've begun work on digital releases of more Chaplin music, including A Dog's Life, Shoulder Arms and The Pilgrim.

We have added a presentation for children on Chaplin's life and work to our website. Please use and share! It is also available in French.

And for those of you interested in learning a bit more about Chaplin's children and grandchildren, there's now some information available on our

Charlotte Gainsbourg's new album, Rest, is centred around the loss of her sister. After seeking advice from Lars Von Trier for putting the title track to images, Gainsbourg established a personal language for the piece. Like the song itself, the video is a musical loop in which Gainsbourg creates a repetitive language, inspired in particular by her cinematic influences, including Charlie Chaplin's The Kid (clip licensed by MK2)
