Here's a story. Maureen, Evan, and Laura were in an earthquake together in Santa Cruz in 1989 when they were in college. Maybe you were there, too. Twenty-five years later, Maureen wrote a novel, The Ghost Daughter set against this catastrophe. Meanwhile, Maureen's former college housemates, Evan and Laura were creating mysterious electronic music from outer space as k-blamo. Laura ate up The Ghost Daughter like it was the best pan dulce, penning "The Shaker of Truth" in honor of this great novel. Evan was ready to record. Come hear the song, and hear Maureen read from her book. Coffee and pan dulce await!
