We held a Targeted Topics Forum on financing NAP processes in Mexico City. Co-hosted with Mexico’s National Institute of Ecology and Climate Change (INECC), this forum was attended by 30 participants representing nine developing countries, as well as technical experts and bilateral development partner staff. The third installment of our webinar series focused on monitoring and evaluation (M&E) of adaptation. Guest panelists included Timo Leiter, GIZ, who presented a guidebook on M&E of national adaptation and Dr. Tsepang Makholela, South Africa’s Director of Climate Change Adaptation M&E, who presented lessons from South Africa’s experience. WORKSHOPS ON COMMUNICATING ADAPTATION IN SAINT LUCIA

We partnered with Saint Lucia’s Department of Sustainable Development on a series of workshops on communicating climate change adaptation. In addition to a training session for government personnel, we also co-hosted a workshop for journalists on reporting on climate change adaptation in the Saint Lucian context. NEPAL RELEASES THREE REPORTS ON NAP PROCESS
Nepal launched three NAP process reports on World Environment Day 2017. ICIMOD writes that the three reports—a synthesis of the stocktaking report, a vulnerability and risk assessment framework and indicators on the NAP formulation process, and an observed climate trend analysis for 1971-2014—are available at http://napnepal.gov.np/publication.
