Kresge Law Library serves as a Preservation Steward for U.S. Government Publishing Office

|
Notre Dame Law School’s Kresge Law Library has renewed its partnership with the U.S. Government Publishing Office as a Preservation Steward.
Preservation Stewards support continued public access to U.S. government documents in print format. They contribute significantly to the effort to preserve printed documents, especially in the digital era. Read more here.

LL.M. alumni publish article calling on United Nations to take urgent action to protect Afghan women’s rights

Roqia Samim and Tahmina Sobat, alumni of the LL.M. Program in International Human Rights Law, wrote “Afghan Women’s Rights as Taliban’s Bargaining Tool for International Recognition," which was featured by the U.N. Special Rapporteur on Human Rights Defenders. Read more here.

The Program on Church, State & Society is pleased to announce a writing competition on topics and questions within the Program’s focus.
The competition is open to law students in good standing, enrolled in a traditional law degree (J.D. or LL.B.), a Master’s degree (LL.M.), or a doctoral degree (S.J.D./J.S.D. or Ph.D.) program. The competition is also open to recent graduates not yet practicing law.
Submissions are due March 1, 2023. More information is here.
