At Ideas for Action we believe that our primary mission is to listen to you, the young innovators around the world who are leading us forward to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals.  We strive to give you a voice and the support you need to turn your ideas into sustainable action, both in your own communities and across the globe.

Your collective response to Ideas for Action 2018 was louder and more powerful than we possibly could have anticipated.  We received over 2,100 proposals from 124 countries - more than tripling last year's totals!

It is now clearer than ever that the ideas needed to change our world are right here, and it is our job to support each of you at every stage on your path to innovation and impact.  As such, we are begninning a campaign to provide an ecosystem of knowledge and support to help as many as possible of the 7,000 young people who participated in this year's competition.  Keep reading below to learn more about our new attempt to put you in direct contact with leaders in the sustainable development movement, and stay tuned for more opportunities to come.

We are hard at work reviewing your proposals and will be in touch with our teams as we move on to the next round of the competition.  Until then, we would like to humbly thank each and every participant, supporter, and mentor who helped make this year such a success so far.  You inspire us every day and give us great hope for the future.
