November 9, 2018

This week we are excited to share two new blog posts as well as launch the 2019 Social Spotlight of the week. In the latest addition to our #AskI4AExperts series, IFC Vice President Asia & Pacific Nena Stoiljkovic answers a question on blended finance and discusses how this innovative finance method is relevant to your I4A proposals. We are also happy to share our 2019 information video, and would like to thank the World Bank Africa for their help producing this inspiring short piece.

Beginning next newsletter, we are delighted to be bringing back one of our most popular features from last year: the Social Spotlight of the Week. The Social Spotlight highlights one I4A project each week and provides a terrific opportunity for our teams to connect and learn more about each other. To be considered, please share a picture, brief description, or video about your project on Twitter or Facebook and use #Ideas4Action2019.

As a reminder, the SDGs&Her competition is now accepting applications for 2019!  If you or someone you know is a female micro-entrepreneur working to achieve the SDGs, this initiative presents an unprecedented opportunity for support.
Click to learn more, apply, or share information about SDGs&Her. The deadline closes December 31, 2018.

Lastly, don't forget to register your I4A 2019 team today and then submit your application as soon as your idea is ready. Ideas for Action 2019 is off to a great start, and we are thrilled to have you on board! Thank you all for your enduring support of I4A, SDGs&Her, and sustainable development around the globe.

Have a great week,
The I4A Team
