Meetings of the ISA Council


DAYS 3 & 4 
20 - 21 July 2022

On Wednesday 20 July, the informal working group on inspection, compliance and enforcement held its second meeting and continued its negotiations on the text of the facilitator, H.E. Dr. Maureen P. Tamuno of Nigeria.

On Thursday 21 July, the Chair of the Finance Committee, Mr. Andrzej Przybycin of Poland, presented the report of the Finance Committee following its meetings from 13 to 15 July. Discussions on the report, budget of ISA for the period 2023-2024 and the scale of assessment for contributions to the budget by Members will continue on Tuesday 26 July.

The informal working group on the protection and preservation of the marine environment then held its second meeting and resumed its negotiations on the text of the facilitator, Dr. Raijeli Taga of Fiji.
