The Ugly Truth Campaign: Rotary’s fight to end sex traffickingMay 30, 2025
On May 30, the Rotary Club PNW Ending Sex Trafficking, featured in this month’s Rotary Magazine, is taking a first step in bringing to our area an ambitious assault on the myths that perpetuate sex trafficking. The campaign, entitled The Ugly Truth Campaign, was pioneered by the Sacramento Rotary Club in 2018. The campaign consists of billboard and public transportation advertising. Each ad states a myth about commercial sexual exploitation followed by the ugly truth. |

Saturday, May 3, is new date for Duwamish River Service Day Our dynamic Rotary District 5030 Environmental Sustainability Committee is very active this year and is inviting Rotarians to participate in a hands-on environmental project on Saturday, May 3, from 9 am to 1 pm. We will be working on the banks of Seattle’s primary urban river namely the Duwamish River. Our work will include removing invasive species and planting indigenous trees and shrubbery.
