Welcome to our first Alum Newsletter of the 2023-2024 school year. Alum Newsletters will include updates about the goings-on at UCDS, upcoming events and ways to get involved, and spotlights on your fellow alums and UCDS faculty or staff.

It's a Small World! 
This summer, UCDS class of 2017 alums Loowit and Reid (coincidentally!) attended a study abroad trip together in Jordan. There, they lived with host families, took Arabic and geopolitics classes, and explored the capital city of Amman. They also visited landmarks such as Petra, the Dead Sea, and Wadi Rum!
Summer Fun at UCDS!
What a magical night! We hosted our Alum Summer Party in August, complete with conversation, reconnecting, and magic performed by UCDS Alum (Class of 2014) Jude Sack! Hannah Saraf (Alum Advisory Board Chair), Jen Vary, and Paula Smith welcomed attendees from the class of 1989 to the class of 2023.
