I cannot thank you enough!
The numbers are in. Although we didn't win the seat – we ran a hell of a campaign. I would like to thank the CORE Team BIZON: Eric, Mary Lou, Shelby, Murney, Meagan, Susan, Nash, Barb, Jared, Daniel, Joann and my Mom for your hard work. I would like to thank Team BIZON County Captains: Bruce, Deb, David, Jerry and Geoff.
I would like to thank all the candidates who joined forces to organize and mobilize.
I would like to thank Kristine and all those that walked for change for the last 60 days incuding the Fems for Dems, IPEIU Local 40 and the Moms Demand Action volunteers. (We must have walked 1,000,000 steps.)
I would like to thank all the Unions, the MEA and all other wonderful organizations that believed in the things we were fighting for. And finally I would like to thank the 138,155 people who voted for me. You are my heroes – everyone one of you! I look forward to a new journey, the next steps that I will be making to continue to fight for our environment and combat climate change.
