Update on COVID-19 Vaccine Availability

Dear Patients,

We begin the new year with the belief that the COVID-19 pandemic can be controlled once a high number of people in our community get vaccinated.

Englewood Health strongly encourages everyone to get the vaccine when it becomes available. We are following guidelines from the CDC and the New Jersey Department of Health on administering the vaccine to priority groups. As you may have heard, the federal government has advised that all states should expand the eligibility of vaccination to broader audiences, including people aged 65 through 74 years and people aged 16 through 64 years with underlying medical conditions.

At Englewood Health, we are preparing to offer the vaccine at vaccine clinics in our community. We hope to open these clinics very soon, but we are not making appointments at this time until we have confirmation of our supply.

As information becomes available, we will send updates via email and post information at www.englewoodhealth.org/vaccine. If you would like to receive text message updates, you can sign up on the web link above.

Please do not call the doctor’s office for updates on vaccine availability, so that our staff can focus on caring for patients. The best source of timely and accurate information is the website above. You can also visit the NJ Department of Health’s COVID Vaccine Information Hub website for updates.

Let’s hope that 2021 brings happiness and health to all of us!

– Your care team
