ND Law students win top prizes in annual religious liberty writing contest

Congratulations to 3Ls David Spicer and Timothy Bradley, who took first and second place, respectively, in the 10th Annual International Religious Liberty writing competition from the International Center for Law and Religion Studies at BYU Law. Read more here.

Veronica Root Martinez hosted a roundtable on equity with scholars from across the country last week at Notre Dame's Chicago office.  

Mary Ellen O'Connell discussed her new book, "The Art of Law in the International Community," at Boston College Law School last week.

This is a reminder that you must go on-line and select your benefits for next year by Friday, November 1.  You can see information about enrollment and the new medical plans and offerings here.


Also, benefit-eligible faculty and staff who complete a health screening by November 8 will receive an $180 premium credit (you will receive an additional $96 premium credit if your spouse completes a screening as well).
Caregivers Support Group

If you are a faculty or staff member currently caring for an aging parent, a spouse, or a child with special needs, you are welcome to join the Caregivers Support Group. This group can offer the opportunity to connect with others, share information and struggles, and listen to how others deal with their situations.   

The Faculty Group meets the third Tuesday of the month from 12:30-1:30 p.m. in room 301 Coleman-Morse

The Staff Group meets the first Thursday of the month from 12:00-1:00 p.m. in room 301 Coleman-Morse
