Improving Affordable Housing Cost Modeling

The Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation (CMHC) shortlisted OPEN Technologies as one of 21 companies to receive funding under its Housing Supply Challenge. The crown corporation awarded us $200,000 to prototype a Net-zero Navigator Extension for Affordable Housing. (Read more)

Nova Scotia Poised to Unlock the Power of Benchmarking with GRID

Nova Scotia building owners and managers will soon have one-click access to detailed information on how their buildings are performing, helping them lower their properties’ greenhouse gas emissions.

They will do so because we recently licensed our GRID benchmark and disclosure software to EfficiencyOne—the non-profit organization operating in Nova Scotia as Efficiency Nova Scotia. (Read more)

Our software syncs a widely used  enterprise data platform with ENERGY STAR Portfolio Manager to manage building attribute and utility data, and generate performance reports that help populate the Building Benchmark BC database.
