More often than not, women will quit before they even have the chance to begin due to not being able to find a good quality wetsuit that fits.

We've been talking about the disparity between genders in water sports for what seems like forever; from letters to manufacturers begging for sizes, to eye-opening articles on sexism in the dive industry to the insane prize money difference between men and women in surf competitions.

And what has changed?

For Truli, it's been an uphill battle as I've chipped away at every "No-you-can't-do-that" from everywhere in the industry. But the truth is we can do it. And once it's done, it gets easier and better.

I've spent the last 5 years preparing for this and now with 4 awesome wetsuit designs, a unique sizing system in place, it's time to make all of these sizes available.

From today until November 30th, you can contribute to the Truli Wetsuits crowdfunding campaign on the IFundWomen platform by pre-ordering any of the 4 Truli designs in whichever size you'd like at $99 - $199 off the regular prices! When we hit the target of $56,000USD, I will be able to place the order for the new inventory and you will receive your new wetsuit around July 2021 (lead time has more than doubled since COVID hit).

By ensuring that Truli Wetsuits are available in every size, we will be lifting a barrier that has been stopping women from getting involved in swimming, paddling, scuba diving, kitesurfing, and wave surfing.

1% donation to Sharks4Kids for each wetsuit pre-order has been incorporated into the contribution prices as long as we hit the target and move forward with production! In addition to pre-ordering your Truli, you can contribute to the campaign and receive various rewards from partners Stream2Sea, Scuba Sisters as well as Truli apparel and more! This sale has done really really well and I am down to the last few wetsuits. There are still quite a few in size Truth (original size M) in the Truli-Mi Fireball Orange and Pot of Gold Yellow if you know of anyone in this size range - let me know!
As a reminder, I am clearing out the Truli-Mi and Truli-Capri inventories and offering a 2 for 1 deal!! These are limited to any of the Truli-Mi or Truli-Capri styles/colours in the following sizes Freedom, Leader, Truth, Legend, Fearless (as long as there is availability).

Sizing@TruliWetsuits.com with your Height, Weight, Bra Size, and General Dress/Clothing Size along with your bust, waist, and hip measurements and what water sports you do.

Once you know your size and availability, you can take advantage of the sale by purchasing 1 wetsuit at full price and in the notes make your request for the second free wetsuit indicating style and size (make sure to purchase the more expensive of the 2 styles (Truli-Capri) if you want one Capri and one Mi).

Designated Fitting Site - Outer Reef Scuba. Calling all Indiana water women! Please head over to the lovely people at Outer Reef Scuba for an in-person fitting of a Truli Wetsuits (you don't have to be a diver to pop in!). Get a firsthand feel for which size works best for you before you order. Divers, even if you aren't local, you can join their Blackbeard's trip to The Bahamas in January - only a few spots left!

Designated Fitting Site - Divers Den - I'm pretty sure the 2020 season will be one that will go down in the Tobermory, Ontario history books! The team at Divers Den did an amazing job at getting divers their scuba fix in a safe and sound way. Unfortunately they weren't able to open their retail part of the business, so the Truli Designated Fitting Site was not in action, but we're hopeful for next season!

Sharks4Kids - A big congratulations to the founder of Sharks4Kids who became the new momma to baby shark Caicos! The future is promising when we have mum's like Jillian educating the next generation of shark conservationists, while also doing what they can to encourage more girls to be inspired into science!
