Yesterday, we announced a $25,000 gift from The Heinz Endowments to match all donations made to our newsroom through the end of this week's The 19th Represents summit — and with another day to go, we've already raised $25,000 and then some.
If that weren't incredible enough, we have more good news: We’re thrilled to announce we’ve received a SECOND match. Thanks to the generous support of TheDrake Bettner Foundation, new supporters of The 19th will continue to see their donations go twice as far through this week's #19thRepresents summit.
The Drake Bettner Foundationis matching all donations to The 19th — dollar-for-dollar up to $25,000 — through 4 p.m. CT on Friday, Aug. 14. There’s still time to become a founding member of The 19th — and see your impact doubled.
Tomorrow is the final day of our The 19th Represents virtual summit and the lineup is packed! We have just about 1,000 seats left for the final day of our summit program, which begins at 1 p.m. CT (2 p.m. ET) with a keynote conversation with vice presidential candidate Kamala Harris, followed by a performance by poet and scholar Dr. Elizabeth Alexander and a closing conversation with Meghan, The Duchess of Sussex, and 19th CEO Emily Ramshaw.
