Upcoming in 2018
The School of Art is now on break for the winter holidays.
Here's a look at what's coming up in 2018:
A.L. Steiner will be the 2018 Presidential Visiting Fellow in Fine Arts within Photography, and will teach the course Workerism. In Graphic Design, Paul Elliman will give a sound workshop, video artist Julika Rudelius and interactive designer Jonathan Puckey will give workshops, and book designer Irma Boom will visit in March. Joseph Zinter and Sarah Oppenheimer will teach their all-school class Screen Space. Leslie Hewitt and Collier Schorr will join the crit panel in Photography, and Dru Donovan and Lyle Aston Harris will be Visiting Artists. Hito Steyerl will be in residence in the spring as a Hayden Fellow. In Sculpture, Kevin Beasley will join and Dave McKenzie, Nayland Blake, and Erin Shirreff will return as Critics; and Amanda Ross Ho and Pam Lins will come as Visiting Artists. Open Studios will be held Friday, April 6 to Sunday, April 8. In Painting and Printmaking, Anna Betbeze will be acting Director of Graduate Studies in Painting and Printmaking while Anoka Faruqee is away in the Spring. Michelle Grabner, Arlene Shechet, and A. K. Burns will visit as Visiting Artists, and Anna Craycroft, Doug Ashford, and Torkwase Dyson will join as Critics.

Faculty Search
The Yale School of Art is seeking an Associate Dean and Professor in the Practice, non-tenure track; and an open-ranked tenured or tenure-track faculty appointment in Sculpture, both beginning on July 1, 2018.
