Tech Tip: J-Cuts & L-Cuts for Audio

ABOUT TECH TIPS:
Every month, the SRL team will highlight a particular aspect of video production to help you produce you best work.

This week's edition is brought to you by SRL Senior Youth Media Producer Victor Fernandez, who oversees schools in the Southeast and Rocky Mountain West regions of the U.S.
Have you ever heard the phrase, “the best editing is invisible”?  When video editing is done right, it is seamless, unnoticeable, “invisible”.  Abrupt cuts in your audio or video are noticeable and could distract your audience.  There are many ways to improve your editing skills with techniques, reasonable clip selection, and of course, creativity. Using J-Cuts and L-Cuts is a great technique to help you Level Up your editing skills. Check out this J-Cuts & L-Cuts Guide to learn more.
