Dear Program Operator,
The Community Procurement Unit (CPU) is working in collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders to create resources related to procurement in the Child and Adult Care Food (CACFP) Program.
The purpose of this communication is to announce the availability of several new procurement resources in the Download Forms section of the Child Nutrition Information and Payment System (CNIPS), which include the following:

- CPU 14 (SP): Resource – Formal Procurement Overview (Spanish Translation)
- CPU 18a: Debarment and Suspension Certification
- CPU 18b: Lobbying Certification
- CPU 18c: Drug Free Workplace Certification
- CPU 18d: Offer Versus Serve Certification
- CPU 18e: Equal Opportunity Certification
We encourage all CACFP agencies to review the resources as they become available. If your agency currently has procurement processes in place, we encourage you to review the resources, and incorporate information or processes that may be needed based on local, state, or federal procurement regulations and standards.
The resources provided by the CPU are optional and are intended to assist agencies with navigating procurement in the CACFP.
