We had an incredibly high-energy guest list of entrepreneurs, investors, and scientists at last week’s TNT!
Two downtown condo board presidents, an exchange student from Slovakia (looking for a summer internship!), and the founder of a personalized skincare company located at Mercer Market
We were making intros to Mitacs, we were brainstorming how to find an internship, how to build a community platform that is absolutely divine with two U of A students, and debating what the future of the community will look like considering the big news dropped last week.
We even had time for a raucous debate on one of my favorite late night topics: why Americans are so loud and proud all the damn time! Even when they no longer live there.
CALGARY:
It was the quiet before the storm in Calgary this week as we prepare for a rip-roaring Life Sciences party on Thursday, which allowed for an intimate introduction to people like Nick Robbins, who is interested in investing in our Cleantech Summit, and has a few startups that might join a future Summit. Serene Yew, of PixelTree, and a regular face on Thursday nights, expressed strong opinions on a certain popular CRM and their implementation costs.
