Halo: Reach is now available on PC. It feels a little surreal for everyone at the studio to finally be able to say that...

It's been such an amazing journey for us; learning, iterating and discovering all while working with the brilliant folks at 343. 

Being involved in bringing one of gaming's best and most famous franchises to PC has been an honour, and we hope to see you all online!

December is going to be a massive month for us. Aside from launching Halo: Reach (did we mention it's out now?), on December 12th the world will get a brand new look at Gears Tactics.

You've seen a tease already, and we know that folks have been clamouring for more, but this trailer won't disappoint. We're so excited for you all to see it.

In other Gears news, last month Gears 5 scooped the Xbox Game of the Year award at the Golden Joystick Awards. These awards are special because, in the main, they're voted for by you! Over 3.5 million votes were cast across 19 categories, and we couldn't be more proud to see Gears 5 take home the gong.

As if that wasn't enough, Gears 5 is also nominated in 3 categories at The Game Awards! We'll be competing in Best Action Game and Best Audio Design, while the brilliant Laura Bailey has been nominated for Best Performance for her role as Kait Diaz!

On Friday 15th November we celebrated cultures from all across the world. We have people in our studio from 34(!) countries and we wanted to find a way of sharing all that knowledge across Splash.

We had language lessons, Bollywood dance classes, a Henna artist, short films, board games, an international food fayre and more. We learned so much and can't wait to do another. 

Earlier this year we celebrated International Women's Day! We held talks, raised money and made a few videos showing off some of the brilliant women who work here. For Movember, and International Men's Day, we did something similar. 

We made two videos, focusing on Men's Health and Men's Mental Health, to raise awareness of some of the issues that can affect men during their lives.

Cinzia, star of previous newsletters, is back! Aside from appearing on Game On's panel, 'Driving Diversity', at Payload Studios she also contributed to this wonderful article on GI.biz from Haydn Taylor about Unconscious Bias in the industry.

She partnered with Leon Killin of Balance Patch (who recently visited the studio during Trans Awareness Week) to discuss and analyse the impacts of Unconscious Bias, how we can learn from it, and how we can improve as both a company and industry.
