I am running for the United States House of Representatives in the 29th Congressional District of California and I am ready to serve We The People.
Good Morning Everyone.
I have some great news to report. I went to the Arleta Neighborhood Council Meeting last night and guess who walked in? Yep. Congressman Tony Cardenas. He came to the meeting late, spoke and left so I was unable to introduce myself. After he spoke the Board and the community gave him the golf clap. Not surprised. I've been knocking on doors, talking to the community and they are ready for a change. And they let me know it. I spoke during the public comment of the meeting, after the Congressman left of course, and when I was done I received an ovation.
The community is responding to our message. They are ready for a change and they are behind us. But unfortunately it's not enough. My opponent has raised $1 million dollars. Yes, a million dollars. Now I do not need to raise anywhere near that to beat him or the other 2 people on the ballot in March but here is what I do need:
1. Volunteers - I need people willing to knock on doors. I need people to talk to others in the 29th and spread the word. The people are hungry, we just need to feed them. Click on my email below and Let's Go!!!!!
2. Donations - Yes, I do need to raise money. Here is how I would use the money in order of priority:
Purchase more postcards. I carry them wherever I go and hand them out to everyone. If you want some to pass out yourself email me or contact me through social media.
Purchase lawn signs. Aside from knocking on doors this is one of the most effective ways to reach my community.
Purchase banners. I have already mapped out priority locations around the community.
Update my logo and website. Although I do feel I did a pretty good job, I know that it could look more professional which means hiring one.
There are other items like mailers, robocalls, Facebook and Instagram ads, buttons and t-shirts. These things would help but not a priority at this time.
So please, donate your time or your money. They are both valuable. Ask your friends to donate their time or money too. Together we can make a difference. So let's Take the Power Back and serve We The People.
