Suki Gill

"I am secondary school teacher, and since completing Picademy, I have set up enrichment lessons with year 11s that run once a fortnight. During this enrichment, students learn about the Raspberry Pi and the exciting activities they can complete with it. For example, they can have a go at programming a motor with a wheel on it and making a 'Wheel of Fortune' game. Sonic Pi is also taught as year 11 enrichment and combined with Minecraft to create amazing musical and visual projects. As a result of my work with the older age groups, Raspberry Pi setup and Sonic Pi have now been introduced at Year 8 as part of the new Computing Curriculum.

"There is something of interest for everyone using the Raspberry Pi, from scientists to gamers!"
