Dear Daybreak Family,
We’ve had an amazing fall as a church, learning how to grow in our love for one another. God is at work and we’re seeing people discover and deepen a life-changing journey with Jesus every week! It’s exciting to think about what 2018 will hold for our church family and how God will continue to provide for us.
At the end of each year, we know many opportunities arise to participate in how God is changing lives in our community and world. As God moves in your heart to extend additional generosity, we want to convey some ministry needs in our church family that would be dramatically impacted by an intentional year-end gift to Daybreak.
Gifts to our Year-End Offering will help to support one of our biggest needs: large group environments for our kids and students, which we believe lack the lighting and sound necessary to engage them fully in worship and in learning on Sundays. While some improvements were made at Gettysburg Pike, we still need to fund more than $8,000 of equipment for both campuses to facilitate more engaging environments.
Additionally, another HVAC unit has failed, requiring more than $15,000 in repairs. We have improvised with portable heaters, but seek to offer an environment that really shows we care deeply about the next generation at Daybreak. Unfortunately, these needs stretch our budget beyond its capacity.
Join us in impacting our kids and students by giving to our
Year-End Offering online at YearEnd.db.church or by writing, "Year-End" on an offering envelope by December 31.
As you consider a year-end gift this season, check out the following story of a long-time Daybreak family member who recently reminded us of the importance of Daybreak's vision and why he chooses to give sacrificially in support of it.
